About Safe Swimmer Certification
Children 8 to 12 years old must pass a swim test in order to swim in the Keizer outdoor pool without a parent present on deck when the pool is staffed with a lifeguard.
Parents of children that receive this certification must still be present in the club while their children are swimming, but can go workout while the kids swim.
Children that pass the test will receive a patch that they must wear on their swimsuit if they want to swim under lifeguard supervision without a parent on deck.
The swim test will be held by appointment only.
