Why the Courthouse Athletic Club?
We provide:
1. Your employees with information about the benefits of exercise;
2. Quality exercise facilities and knowledgeable staff who help employees exercise correctly; and,
3. Incentives for those who exercise regularly.
How does it work?
1. There is a reduced $50 joining fee for each membership activated which may be paid by the employee or employer.
2. Monthly dues rate varies depending on type of membership.
3. The employer makes a monthly contribution equal to $5 per week for every week the employee exercises regularly.
4. The Courthouse Athletic Club will award employer an annual rebate of $1 per week for every week the employee exercises regularly.
5. The employer must maintain a minimum of five memberships on the account to be eligible for corporate benefits.
How do I keep my employees accountable?
1. Employees must meet the minimum requirements for weekly exercise as defined by the American College of Sports Medicine to receive their dues contribution. Typically this is one hour of moderately intense exercise each week.
2. Each employee is assessed by a certified Fitness Coach to determine his or her appropriate weekly minimum and to help set future goals.
3. The Courthouse maintains a user friendly computer system at each club called LEAP (Lifetime Exercise Adherence Program).
4. After each exercise session, employees record their activity on the LEAP system. The employer receives a report at the end of each month stating which employees did and did not meet their minimum exercise criteria.

Total Sports - This membership includes use of our Tennis Center in addition to Premium membership privileges. Special amenities available at athletic club locations only.
Premium Membership - Our most popular membership, this includes use of all five athletic club locations in addition to special amenities: Towel Service, Guest Allowance, Proshop Discount, and Tanning Allowance.
Basic - This membership includes unlimited usage at your designated home club. Use other athletic club locations for just $2 per visit.
Value - All hours except 4pm-9pm Monday through Friday. No restrictions on weekends. Basic membership privileges at your designated home club. Use other athletic club locations for just $2 per visit.

Although many companies in the Salem area share a concern for productivity, sick time, injuries, and health care costs, few have taken action to help their employees change their lifestyles. Congratulations to the following companies who contribute at least $5 per week toward the monthly dues of their employees who exercise regularly.

1. Dues are payroll deducted after employer contribution.
2. Satisfaction Guaranteed: We want you to be happy with your membership purchase. Therefore, within 30 days of joining, you may resign your membership and receive a full refund of your joining fee according to the terms of your agreement.
3. Family membership rate includes a maximum of two adults and one dependent child 24 years or under. Add $17 per month for each additional dependent child.
4. Non-dependent children age 17 or under may be added to any membership type for a $30 joining fee plus $34 per month.
5. Members age 24 and under receive a $10 monthly discount when enrolled on a Couple or Single membership. (Total Sports, Premium, Basic, or Value membership categories only.)
